The supporters of protectionism (Yeah, in America!) will be happy to use the equipment made in the USA for their training. However, it’s not a matter of politics, but the rope quality produced in the USA. These ropes have decent performance and now we’ll take a closer look at how they differ from other models in the sporting goods market.

First of all, I’d like to say about the affordable price. As a rule, these ropes are three times cheaper than their high-quality competitors from well-known brands. In addition, they have the same synthetic fiber as the more expensive ropes, so they’re not inferior in quality. But there’re also several significant drawbacks.

One of them is the end caps. They aren’t heat-shrinkable, which means they can break off during intense exercise. Another disadvantage lies in the length and thickness options: the rope only comes in one size – 2 inches thick and 40 feet long. This is the optimal size, but not for everyone. Therefore, before purchasing a product, make sure that this is enough for you.

You get only a rope, no protective sleeves or anchors, or even instructions. This explains the low price of the product. However, you can buy an anchor for pennies at any sports store, and exercise instructions are available online. Still, you have to think about where to store the rope, as there is no protective sleeve included. We recommend storing this in a dry, sun-protected place.

Otherwise, the rope works quite well both outdoors and in the gym. So, if you don’t want to spend money on expensive brands, then this rope will satisfy your desire to keep your arms, shoulders, and back fit.

Pros and Cons

Affordable price
Synthetic material
Only one length and thickness option
unreliable handles
