Do you love Merax as much as we love it? No, this is not a promotional article or an attempt to draw your attention to a new sport. But let’s talk about everything in order.
First, this is one of the best strength racks we’ve found. Why? The total load capacity is nearly 1,800 pounds, which is quite a lot. If you figure it out in detail, the cage itself has a lifting capacity of 700 pounds, the J-wrenches hold about 400 pounds for the draw rod, and the submerged rod holds about 287 pounds. Therefore, this is more than enough for a home gym.
But let’s look at other metrics as well.
Usually, the pull-up bar is a regular pipe. However, this time it’s much more interesting: it has different directions for the grip, which means you can greatly expand the range of exercises for the upper body. Another feature is the side benches. It has optimal width between itself, suitable for comfortable pulling up for men and women.
In general, exercises such as deadlifts, bench presses, pull-ups, weight training, and others can become your permanent arsenal for a relatively small price.
Frame height 85.5 inches. This is quite high, if your gym is in a garage, then this rack may not be right for you. However, that’s not a reason to despair, because Merax has many alternatives.
